Beethoven script, missing for 115 years found in a library

An 80-page, handwritten working manuscript score of Beethoven's 'Grosse Fuge' that went missing 115 years ago has been found by a librarian near Philadelphia, The New York Times said on Thursday. "It was just sitting on that shelf. I was in a state of shock," Heather Carbo told the Daily.

This is awesome. I wish there were pictures of it.

Apple iPod Officially USB 2.0 Only - No More Firewire!

As of today, and the iPod 5th gen. Firewire is now completely unsupported by the iPod. No more super fast transfers. Apparently Mac users are too expensive to support. Thanks apple. My desktop doesn't even HAVE USB 2.0.

This is pretty big. iPod which is owned by Apple, is deserting the firewire, which can be found mainly on iBooks and other Apple computers. I don't know guys. When I got my iPod, I bought a firewire card for 5 bucks, installed it in 2 seconds and crazy super fast transfers were there. BOOOO!!!...but i still want an iBook. :)

Slow Day...

So today is Rosh Hashana (sp?) and with consideration that most of the music industry is Jewish (if you didn't know, I work as an Assistant Booking Agent at AGI) it's quite quiet today in the office. So quiet that my boss (one of the agents) and another agent are in the confrence room, playing PSX's (Playstation 1 for all you who don't know) Madden 2002. I can hear screams and taunting from my desk. It's great. Laugh my ass off through out the day.

So here's my day: Woke up at 6AM to go to the doctor's office to fill out forms cause I'm having my tonsils out soon. From there go to the hospital to get bloodwork done. Get on the train to go to work bout 9:30AM. Get to work at 10:30AM.

10:30AM to basically now i've answered about...10 calls at most. So quiet. Needless to say i'm kinda restless and tired but oh well.

OFH has no practice again this week which really bothers me cause this month is going to suck with practices and we really need to write more. I've been slacking in the writing department too. I need a muse.

Weekend Update

...so where should I start. Friday was fun. It was Nelsonfest at our friend's place where Never Say Die played and We Are The Music Makers. GOOOOOOOD TIMES full of lots of beer and liquor and my girlfriend making out with lots of them. I love my life :)

Saturday we got to see the second to final draft of our music video and let me tell you that was great. We all got a copy of it and watched it over 50 times. It's a real video. Our director submits his videos to FUSE TV, MTV2, MTVU and other music channels and they sometimes play them. I'll tell you guys how to see it when I know.

We had a show at RedZone Saturday night in Queens. Definitely a hole in the wall but we had a really good crowd. Many new fans were made that night. This really really really young punk band opened for us. Like Sex Pistols/Rancid wannabes. Ungreatful to cause we let them borrow one of our amp heads since they blew theirs out during their set and never a thank you or stay for our set. I can't stand punk kids like that. If you're all about the music and the scene...why don't you stay for the music.

That night we all made tacos and had smoke fun. From that night I found that there were people in my pants opening and closing doors. I'm going to end this entry on that note.
